  • Ping An Technology’s facial recognition technology achieved facial recognition based lending within 6 minutes first in the world; initiated business transfer, and made efforts in more cutting-edge scientific and technological innovation research such as blockchain, big data and AI.

2017

  • In March 2017, Ping An Technology cooperated with Shenzhen Airport to create a new security scenario for facial recognition. Ping An Technology’s facial recognition technology for the first time as an innovative and convenient high-tech identity verification technology, combined with big data analysis and screening, was applied to the security check scenario of Shenzhen Airport.
  • In March 2017, the facial recognition technology was certified by the Certification Center of the 3rd Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security to have 99.84% recognition accuracy.
  • In May 2017, in the international authoritative facial recognition test set LFW (labeled faces in the wild), Ping An Technology achieved 99.8% recognition accuracy and the lowest fluctuation range, surpassing many well-known domestic and foreign technology companies.

2018

  • In January 2018, on the rankings of LUNA (LUng Nodule Analysis), an authoritative evaluation in the field of medical imaging, Ping An Technology broke the world records of “pulmonary nodule detection” and “false positive screening” with a precision of 95.1% and 96.8% respectively.
  • In January 2018, Ping An won the first AI world composition championship at the International Challenge for AI Composition held by Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, EPFL.
  • In March 2018, in the international authoritative IDRiD fundus analysis competition, Ping An Technology achieved a world first in EX (hard exudates) image segmentation, world second in HE (bleeding) segmentation and world third in MA (microaneurysm) segmentation task.
